The role will be responsible primarily for assisting the Legal Department of the Company across a broad, complex range of operational and transactional matters impacting Julphar's business. The successful candidate will need to be flexible in terms of the type of work they are prepared to undertake but the following are illustrative of the key.
Key responsibilities & Accountability:
Drafting, reviewing and advising on various types of contracts in various areas of law, including employment contracts, distribution contracts, joint venture agreements, sponsorship agreements, supply agreements, IT agreements. Assist in resolving routine and complex legal matters in practice area with minimal supervision. Liaising with outside counsel on litigation.Advising on legal entity issues. Advising on employment law issues. Providing legal support on industry issues, crisis management and product incidents. Handling and advising on corporate matters.
The minimum requirements from the job skills profile should be described, including degrees / qualifications preferred. Degrees & Qualifications - Law degree from an accredited law school. Qualified practice law.
Minimum 5 years In-house experience with pharmaceutical, FMCG.
Arabic is an advantageAble to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.Strong drafting skills. Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team.
Ability to manage numerous matters and competing priorities effectively. Awareness of own levels of understanding with ability to seek guidance where necessary. Ability to collaborate within a matrix structure across legal and business client groups. Computer Proficiency - Excel (Excellent), Word (Excellent), Power Point (Excellent) and a willingness and ability to become more proficient in these tools. Language - Good command of written and spoken English, Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
