The Country Manager has the operational responsibilities for Algeria Market (P&L), strengthens country leadership, maximize the growth potential & profit contribution. Plan, organize and control all sales & promotional activities to accomplish marketing and sales objectives of Julphar in Algeria. He/She is responsible to explore new business development opportunities that will add incremental values to Julphar Business in Algeria.
Key responsibilities & Accountability:
Leads, directs, and coaches his direct reports as well as the Medical Representatives of the country. Set Objectives & plans for their professional development and review its implementations. Responsible for the Operational Activities for the country (P&L) strengthens Leadership, maximizes the growth potential & profit contribution of the country. Plans and ensures implementation of cycle promotional plans, sales action plans and objectives of Julphar products at the physicians and pharmacies level. Allocates effectively the resources to achieve the agreed sales & marketing plans. Deals with the agent in a professional way to ensure proper distribution of Julphar products. Collaborates and upon approval of head office: select, assign the suitable importer/s to import Julphar products to Algeria market. Ensures that field forces are continuously trained, motivated and developed in customer focus selling to meet their current accountabilities and maximize their potential productivity. Participates with medical, marketing, & regulatory managers in the planning and strategies of new products introduction and follow on its launch activities. Builds and maintains professional sound relationship with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and key authorities in MOH and Institutions who influence the sales and marketing of Julphar products to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Ensures timely registration of Julphar new products, and assuring the key opinion leader support for acceptance of the submitted prices in collaboration with RAK Regulatory Team. Reports monthly sales achievements, products market share, market feedback, competitor's activities, and customer's reactions to company policies and promotional campaigns. Manages total business of the assigned market, with full responsibility for achieving both top and bottom lines and ensure meeting the agreed sales growth.Forecast and sets sales budget and operating expenses of Julphar promoted products in Algeria. Evaluates & proposes all new sales opportunities. Handles & deals with sales issues of Julphar distributor / importers. Manages proactively the deviations from the sales plan in order to minimize downsides and maximizes upsides opportunities. Prepares & submits country annual & revised sales forecast, budget and best estimate of Julphar promoted products. Monitors and controls marketing and selling expenses in accordance with the approved budget to obtain maximum return on investment (ROI). Takes corrective actions where required. Provides coaching to subordinates to improve and empower the sales force capabilities. Motivate and inspire the sales force in each country.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related science. Postgraduate qualification, MBA or related studies is of added value.
At least 10 years of experience in managerial level from pharmaceutical field. Preferred language as per country business needs.
