Job Description:
Purpose: The Medical Information Officer will be responsible in achieving maximum sales profitability growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services, and personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
Key responsibilities & Accountability: Coverage (visits to) of the territory (number of HCPs and frequency of visit/HCP) as per the company-established territory management plan.
Determines the purchase of Julphar Life products by professional visits and presentations to pharmacists as per the marketing plan.
Organizes presentations and supply information on the characteristics of the Julphar Life products in pharmacies and distribution networks (as concerns prices, discounts, distribution network, commercial campaigns, product benefits as compared to those of the competition).
Identifies potential clients (types A+, A and B, C).
Reaches the company-established monthly goals on: sales vs. target, distribution, visibility and recommendation.
Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
Demonstrates products to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the company products.
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
Analyzes the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the organization.
Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Participates in conference and conventions.
   - Education Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or any related medical field.
   - Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in OTC Business from a reputable pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in ABU DHABI & AL AIN is a must.
