The Human Resources Director leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment. He/she also manages the HR Department, the recruitment and training and development of a superior workforce. The Director of Human Resources has primary responsibility for all personnel, employee relations, labor relations, compensation & benefits, career and talent management.
Key responsibilities & Accountability:
Provides leadership and supervision for Human Resources Operations. Supervise and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, talent management, budget, and labor relations.Develop a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance to Julphar vision and objectives. Effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate human resource-related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals. Direct the development and implementation of organizational development programs; employee orientation and training programs; benefits plans, policies and guidelines; database management procedures; equal opportunity employment programs; and employee records and documentation policies. Develop and implement HR strategy in line with the business plan. Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur. Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, references, cost per hire, training hours per person, training plans achievements. Ensuring compliance with current employment law issues. Recommends policies, procedures and/or actions for the purpose of providing direction for meeting the company goals and objectives. Create effective performance review programs which are designed to measure individual performance and to identify opportunities for improvement and challenges. Support Organization design; managing structural change and ensuring the organization is appropriately designed. Ensure that the organization's workforce, culture, values and environment will enable it to meet goals and perform well in the future. Make sure the organization attracts people who will give it an edge. Managing a workforce with the balance of skills needed to meet short and long-term ambitions. Support employees in maintaining a positive connection with their work, colleagues and the broader organization, with a particular focus on good relationships between staff and their managers.
Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or equivalent related experience.
At least 10 years of operation in Human Resources management with at least 5 years in a management role such as HR Director in Middle-East. Pharma Industry experience is a must.
- Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Arabic and English speaking and writing are a must. Strong Leadership and business acumen skills. Strategic thinking; Demonstrated ability to think strategically to achieve long-term strategic goal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong research and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
